Wisdom Tooth

I promised myself I was going to keep this blog to a minimal on the personal level. I planned on spending alot more time scrapbooking and posting my work. I am so far behind it's not even funny. Every weekend I say this is it, I am scrapbooking, don't bother me. LOL Sat. morning Jordon had his first football game, and lost. :-( That afternoon I had 3 teeth worked on along with having my last wisdom tooth pulled out. Here it is, 2 days later and I am still in pain. My lower right side is still swollen and now bruised.

Last night we took the kids to the Colorado State Fair to ride the rides. I didn't really want to go but figured this was the only time that worked out with our schedule. The kids had fun so that made me happy.

Winter Park Colorado

I am so excited. In 23 days I will be headed to Winter Park Colorado for a Scrapbooking Retreat weekend. Boy do I need it. "Who Gives A Scrap?" will be Vending there. The last time I went was 2 years ago. I had so much fun. I have the opportunity to go again so I am taking it. LOL We are in the process of bringing in new products from some great company's. I can hardly wait.
My sister will be coming along this time. I am thrilled about this. One, she wants to work on a scrapbook for my niece Chelsi who will be graduating in 2 years and two, I don't really know anyone that well that will be their and three, I don't have to drive. :-)
Once I get the store ready, I have to figure out what I will be working on once I get there. Hopefully the store will keep me really busy. :-)

Football

Here is a picture of Jordon on his second day of playing football. I didn't get one on the first day because he really didn't look like a football player. LOL We were told not to get pants or a jersey but it seemed like everyone on the team had theirs. His dad went that night and bought him pants and a practice jersey. He is the smallest one on the team. Their are some just as small, but not as scrawny. LOL He practices 3 times a week and he said it is brutal. His 23 y/r cousin Chris is one of his coaches. I thought they wouldn't be to rough on him, but I thought wrong. Poor kid was dying yesterday. He still likes it but he is not use to getting tackled from anyone else but his cousin Jalen. :-)

First Day of School

Here are the kids on their first day of school. Do they looked thrilled or what? I think Jarica was kinda of scared but she didn't show it. She'll do great since she was in all day kindergarten last year.

I sent Jordon off the where his class lines up and told him I would be their in a bit. I waited with Jarica for awhile while her class lined up and then back to Jordon. His class was already in their room. I went in and told Jordon to have a nice day and his friends all laughed. I think I embarressed him. His teacher is Mr. Shue. He is the best teacher ever. Jordon had him last year. We are so excited that he moved on up with his class. Mr. Shue also commented on the scrapbook I made him last year of the class. He said he showed it off and everyone this summer and they loved it to. I told him I don't know how I am going to "Out do it" for this year. He told me to get started now. LOL

I went back to see Jarica in her room and she looked so cute just sitting their in her little desk. I didn't take a picture with them and the teacher. I will have to get their early this afternoon and get one. :-)

Locks of Love

I took Jarica for a haircut Saturday. Does she look different or what? She don't look like my baby anymore. LOL A couple of months ago I asked her if she wanted to cut her hair and give it to Locks of Love and she said "No"! It took me a month to finally convince her that she should at least think about it. All of a sudden she said "yes mom, I do want to cut my hair and give it to Locks of Love". I was so happy that she decided to do it. I told her we would cut it right before school starts. Well, school starts tomarrow so it had to be done. I was kinda sad to see her hair go but I know it will be going to a good cause. To my suprise we cut off 14 inches. I knew we had to have at least 12 inches for it to be useable. Her dad was also sad but happy for her. His first thought was, "You look like Dora". That didn't make her happy. LOL

School Starts in 1 week

I can't belive how fast the summer went by. It seems just like yesterday we were celebrating the last day of school. LOL We will end this with Jarica playing her last t-ball games the week school starts. She had so much fun. I will post pictures soon.

Jarica is really excited to get back to school. She will be in the 1st grade. She is sad that she won't be with all of her friends. I just tell her that she will make new ones. And I am sure she will.

Jordon is happy to. He just don't express it like Jarica does. He is excited about getting to play soccer for his school this year. He will also be playing football which I am not happy about. I would rather him play flag football but he doesn't want to. What's a mom to do?

All our school shopping is done. I am so happy to get that out of the way. It's pretty fun going from store to store to get all the good sales. Just like Black Friday. LOL My favorite shopping day.
